Birthday cards

Hello...
Today i have two cards to show. One is a dragon for my husband. The other is a fish one for my uncle.

For the dragon card i heat embossed the dragons and then went over it with fire brick red distress stain. Then i mounted it onto a gold panel. It was then foam mounted onto a red panel stamped with a cherry blossom stamp. And finally mounted onto a black card with ribbon and happy birthday.

The fish card is a Memory Box wave stamp that i heat embossed in white. Twinkling H2O's were used to paint it in shades of blue. Then mounted onto a blue panel to a white card.  Lastly i stamped and cut out the fish and added them to the card.

Hope you enjoy my cards.  Till next time...

  1. Eloise the dragon card is very elegant and masculine with the monochromatic reds and the blue card is so festive with the water jumping fish!

  4. Fabulous cards. That dragon image is beautiful, and it looks great with the red and gold. I like how you used the wave stamp. I haven't experimented much with twinkling H20s. I've got one that I'll have to pull out and play with. Thanks for the inspiration. Ann Y.
