Flower by Magenta

My card for today is a Magenta flower.  This is a sympathy card I made for a friend of mine who lost his father.  I stamped it in black and went around the edges with blue distress ink.  It's layered onto a white panel that I went down the sides with a push pin and the Tim Holtz ruler.  His ruler makes it so easy to do this.  Finally it's all put on a blue lined card with a black and white ribbon in between.  Let me know what you think.  Have a great day!

  1. I haven't seen this stamp before, but oh boy, I want it now! I especially love the bit of white you have left uninked behind the image as it just makes it seem to glow.

  4. Your card is beautiful Eloise, I hope it brings comfort to your friend.
I love using the Tim Holtz ruler for pricking holes and stitching… easier than a sewing machine for me!
